Loving the Whole Self: Utilizing Parts Work with Drug Users

Join presenters Christian Brown, LCSW, CAADC, CFCS and Liz Rhea, LMSW for a 3-hour presentation exploring common considerations in working with an individual with problematic substance use behaviors, such as level of care, inpatient versus outpatient interventions, and utilizing a harm reduction framework, as well as treating religious trauma, with special considerations for working with people living in the Southern U.S. and LGBTQIA+-identified people affected by problematic substance use.

From Isolation to Connection: Supporting the Whole Family in Substance Use Recovery

Join presenters Casey Schrader, LCSW, CFCS and Jessica Alexander, LMFT for a 3-hour workshop exploring working with a family system in recovery, utilizing a systems perspective, and involving each member of the family unit in care, as well as facilitating individual therapy for someone impacted by their loved one’s problematic substance use, including adult children, partners, parents, and community members of substance users.
